I often have clients say “what do I think about…..” before they tell me what
they’ve been doing or thinking about doing to improve their health.

Yoga, CrossFit, Barre, Functional Patterns, HIIT training and many other
emerging trends come out of their mouth.

While I keep in mind these may be things these clients have found a passion for,
I always have the same answer.

It depends who is teaching you and how the classes carries over to your
performance.

Performance is not always for competition, it can be just how do you perform on
a daily basis?

While each client receives a customized program, they all go through Rewire’s
movement screen and standing postural assessment.

Before I can tell you if these other activities are beneficial for your health, I have
to see how you do the basics.

Walking, Lifting, Standing:

The body and mind will always find a way to compensate for what it does not
have. While this may be beneficial for getting things done, it is not always
beneficial for human development.

As I listen to clients & previous experiences that led them to me, I hear the way
that they think about themselves.

While I put them through awkward moments of silence walking barefoot, lifting
object from the floor or balancing on one leg, it goes one of two ways.

“I used to be able to do this, but….”

Or

“Hold on, I’m going to get it”

After our sessions, I always reassess posture with the eyes closed while teaching
breathing techniques until the room becomes completely silent.

As the room gets quiet and my client relaxes into a comfortable standing position
finding their natural breath, I always see “it” happen.

The tension drops, their frustration leaves, and they become clear headed.

As they open their eyes and see themself standing in the mirror, I always ask
how they feel.

“Good…. It’s like my whole body is connected”

Then I ask if they have any questions about our session or what they need to do.

I’m very thorough in the way I teach. I’ll explain it anyway I can to make sure my
clients understand what I am saying, but I cannot do the work for them.

I answer any questions they have, but then turn the responsibility on the client to
make changes.

During the movement assessment we breakdown the dysfunction in their
foundational movements and show exercises to improve limitations

During the postural assessment, we change the way people think about and feel
within their body. We Rewire them to train and act with intention when they are
moving.

As people leave our clinic, they are experts on their current level and have a
clear plan to get where they want to go.

I do not tell people what they can and cannot do, but simply shine light on the
fact that each decision they make dictates their future.

Our assessment is to see movement and mental efficiency to produce more
productive humans.
